About Extension Poles

For safety reasons, fan blades must be a minimum of 7' above the floor. Hang the fan blades 8' or 9' above the floor for the most efficient air flow. All Casa Optima ceiling fans come with a standard pole for use with 8-foot ceilings.

Adding Lights to Your Ceiling Fan

When choosing lights for your ceiling fan, be sure they meet the room''s needs. Workspaces like kitchens and home offices demand bright light. Bedrooms and dining rooms require more subdued illumination. To create more relaxed lighting, consider ceiling fans with indirect uplights. Additionally, dimmer switches allow you to adjust the light on a fan to fit your mood.
