About Extension Poles

For safety reasons, fan blades must be a minimum of 7' above the floor. Hang the fan blades 8' or 9' above the floor for the most efficient air flow. All Casa Optima ceiling fans come with a standard pole for use with 8-foot ceilings.

Things to Know Before Your Install Your Ceiling Fan

Before installing your new ceiling fan, you should first determine if you’ll need electrical wiring in the room where the fan will be located. Additionally, when adding a fan to an outdoor space (such as a porch or patio) opt for a fan that is UL listed for wet locations.
